Two cadres of the banned People's Liberation Army (PLA), including a senior member, were arrested for their involvement in the September 19 ambush in Manipur, which killed two Assam Rifles personnel. The prime accused was previously apprehended, and security forces also captured four more militants from various outfits in separate operations across the region.
