Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the support expressed by the majority of member countries and groups of the United Nations for the defense of Venezuela and the region of Latin America and the Caribbean. In the past, noted President Maduro, “the president of the United States spoke at the United Nations General Assembly, and at least 100 countries then echoed the US president’s main ideas and openly supported him. This time, that did not happen. This time, not even Israel [did so] because Netanyahu spoke to an empty hall.”President Maduro added that Zionism is losing support, and its plans for the extermination of the Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, and Iranian people are openly condemned.
