HSBC Malta has warned customers of major service disruptions due to ongoing industrial action affecting its operations.The bank confirmed its Contact Centre is temporarily unavailable, though its emergency hotline for lost or stolen cards remains active. Teller services are also unavailable at all branches, with only limited in-branch support currently offered.ATMs and deposit machines are operating normally, but cheque deposits will not be processed until the first working day after the strike ends. Internet and mobile banking channels remain fully functional, though responses to secure messages will be delayed.For urgent investment or insurance-related queries, HSBC is advising customers to use the Secure Message option within Online Banking.
