A rebellion against the liars and manipulators who pretend to be my team, but in reality treat the fighters as tools for their own gain. “From the beginning, they deliberately didn’t support me in my preparations. They wanted me to be unready and easily replaceable. “Sport, passion, or dedication don’t matter to them, only money and connections matter. “They tried to turn me into cannon fodder, just like they did to others before. I won’t allow it.“My opponent has nothing to do with this, he has my full respect. “I apologised to him personally in the Octagon, because that’s the right thing to do in front of the fans.“My heart breaks and tears well up in my eyes, but I couldn’t do otherwise. Babilon MMASzoltysik tapped out before a single strike was landed[/caption]“Dignity and honour are above all else. This was my cry of protest against the lies, manipulation, and exploitation of athletes. “I will not be sold. Enough is enough.”Promoter Babilon was less than impressed by Szoltysik’s decision to throw the fight.A statement released on Facebook, read: “A bizarre situation occurred in the fight between Kujtkowski and Szołtysik.“Fans expected a fierce brawl, but only one fighter was ready for it. “Marcin Szołtysik frightened on social media with workouts like Tong Po from the iconic ‘Kickboxer’.“But in the cage, he showed nothing at all and gave up on the very fight, without even taking up a fight.“Jacek Kujtkowski (4-2) officially wins by submission in the first second of the first round, but only time will tell how this result will be recorded.”
