S&P500 STILL IN HOLDING PATTERN WATCH FOR PULLBACK TO SUPPORT?E-mini S&P 500 Futures (Dec 2025)CME_MINI:ESZ2025TradeTheIndex Hey Traders so another week of trading during the Fall it can be hard to find good trades this time of year imo. But if we look at the S&P500 seems to me likes it's stuck in a holding pattern. Normally September and October are not good months for the Stock Market but seems like this year that has had no effect on market yet. But the fact that the market has already broken above resistance and made a new all time high at 6756 shows the bulls are in control. Me personally I don't like to buy at all time highs without some kind of pullback. So if the market is overbought we could see one soon if not I guess it's back to the gravy train of making new highs. 😁 So therefore Scenarios today are Bearish- I don't think selling at all time highs is a good idea wait for daily support to break below 6609. If market closes below there we are most likely heading lower and probably fast. Bullish- Watch for the support at 6609 to hold the bulls should not want the market to go lower here if they defend this level. Then consider buying on a pullback that should be safer level to go back in with the bulls. COT- Interesting it's showing they are selling the market hard with 174,977 contracts short. But don't let that fool you the COT is normally a reversal indicator when these funds becomes overcrowed or over sold heavily the market normally can force a trendmendous rally because they are being squeezed out the short positions (short squeeze). The signal is bullish! There is no way for them to get out but to buy. So the more they short the market the more oversold it becomes until one day bam like a rubber band market snaps back to neutral and those who had long positions had a great trade because they went against the funds.
