HORC+RSI+ SMC's OTE GBP/USDOANDA:GBPUSDGrandoc I am always Lazy to type so I made a transcript Transcript Grandoc: "In this idea, we are trying to understand how the markets move using the Relative Strength Index and how the divergence on the chart will show up on the chart. So with this, what we did was we've plotted the normal idea of Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (ChoCh) to the RSI, which now makes it act like we're charting the RSI like a line chart. We also observed a few behaviors that happen in the market on the chart on different timeframes before price totally reverses. This can show us there's going to be momentum; this can show us if the reversal is going to be a deep reversal or if it's going to be shallow. We can see when the market has completely diverged, which we know means the market now wants to start pulling back or wants to change direction completely. But we are using our own way to spot it, because what people call divergence might not always be right, and what people call hidden divergence might not always be right. So we are seeing patterns in line with the RSI—a change in the RSI to trade this pattern. This is not financial advice, this is just a tutorial, learning together, and I hope as you guys follow you guys will have a better understanding of what we're trying to do. The results will be shared for all to see. Thank you." Trading Methodology: Accountability & Journaling Grandoc: "In this week’s analysis, and in the process of trying to perfect my trading skills and share ideas, one of the reasons why I share ideas here is to make sure that when I post trades, I don’t go back and re-check them or re-adjust them. I noticed most traders go back to adjust everything when they post trades, so I started posting my trades here as a way of journaling because I know I can’t change it back after I’ve posted it. If I make it public, I likely can't delete it. I also apologize to the moderators that some of my earlier posts did not follow the rules; I was just doing it for journaling's sake and didn't know it had such a large audience. Right now, I think I do better." Analysis: Futures, HORC & Liquidity Zones Grandoc: "Looking at this week’s analysis, you could see where I positioned my initial buy trade. Because of the fundamentals and sentimental scenarios with the bombing, it pushed the dollar stronger, even though we were expecting a weak dollar for some time before expecting it to bounce back by taking the orders at point. On my futures chart, I analyzed it with the process of HORC (Hendray's Open Range Concept) and found there is a daily pending liquidity calling price. You can see it marked 'Daily Liquidity'—if you look at the chart with the red and green candles (Futures) versus the blue and white candles (CFD). I’ve plotted those liquidities there. Prior to now, my buy trade was supposed to be taken at a daily exhaustion imbalance zone." Forecast: Optimal Trade Entry (OTE) & Protected Levels Grandoc: "Because that previous zone was taken by the news and the bombing, we had to find another daily zone that is not liquidity. Weekly liquidity has been raided in the bid to get to that zone, so we are still expecting price to go and take out the daily liquidity. However, that high after the daily liquidity point is protected, while the very last low in this structural leg is not protected because, from our way of checking imbalance, we can see every coordinate has been given. I analyze the CFD chart using RSI divergence. Looking at the weekly, I spotted that whenever we see price hit a high point that doesn't match the highest point of the RSI, we expect a divergence. That played out correctly: price made a higher high on the chart but a lower high on the RSI—a full-time divergence. Because of that, we saw a pullback. Weekly time frame has broken structure, so we expect price to pull back to the OTE (Optimal Trade Entry) range. That OTE range aligns with the daily liquidity we expect price to tap into. We assume the high at our 100% Fib level is protected. We are expecting price to buy, get to that point of the OTE space, and then we expect a drop in price as the dollar is supposed to defend itself against the strong British Pound. Our way of seeing divergence is different: we see momentum absorption and exhaustion absorption. I’m on a journey to take the complicated HORC and squeeze everything into the RSI divergence and Make it very mechanical for easy repetition. I see this Set up as a very good This is a very good trade, and I’m looking forward to how it plays out." This set up is still subjected to fundamentals as we have seen a lot last week DIISCLAIMER: this is not a financial advice
