All odds are provided by our recommended football bookmakers and are subject to change.PSG vs Toulouse predictionsThe Ligue 1 title race took a back seat over the last fortnight as France and other national teams stepped up their preparations for the World Cup.But there was still a noteworthy moment related to the battle to be crowned French champions during the March international break.Last Thursday, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (the body that governs the top two leagues in France) announced that the upcoming clash between the two remaining Ligue 1 title contenders was to be postponed.Leaders PSG had been due to visit second-placed Lens on April 11. Given the game would have been sandwiched between the two legs of their Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool, the Parisians requested a switch.Lens were opposed to the move, but to the surprise of no one, the authorities granted PSG’s request. The match will now take place on May 13 – presuming the champions have no problems with that, of course. The official verdict attempted to paint the decision as one made with the best interests of French football as a whole at heart. “These decisions are in line with the board of directors’ clear strategic aim of enabling France to retain its fifth place in the UEFA coefficient rankings, which secures four places in the Champions League,” a statement read. Most followers of French football disagree. Not only does this decision clearly preference PSG’s interests over those of Lens, it also sets a dangerous precedent for the future.Lens, who deserve huge credit for having stuck with PSG for this long despite the financial discrepancies between the pair, understandably feel aggrieved.“It seems to us, in fact, that a worrying sentiment is taking hold: that of a French league gradually being relegated to the status of an adjustment variable at the whim of certain parties’ European imperatives,” read part of their response.Even if the decision had been different, PSG would still be favourites to end the season at the summit of the standings.Luis Enrique’s side hold a one-point advantage over Lens heading into Easter weekend, and they also have a game in hand on their challengers.Yet Lens refuse to go away and PSG are not immune to slipping up in Ligue 1. After the contentious postponement call, it will not just be Toulouse fans hoping for an unlikely away win at the Parc des Princes on Friday night.PSG vs Toulouse betting tipsParis Saint-Germain and Toulouse will go head-to-head as the Ligue 1 season resumes.PSG to get job doneIt is still mathematically possible for Toulouse to qualify for Europe, but a seven-point deficit to the top seven will be tough to overturn at this relatively late stage of proceedings.Realistically, Toulouse are targeting a top-half finish – and after winning back-to-back games before the international break, they head to the capital with a bit of confidence behind them.Still, it is hard to envisage Toulouse avoiding defeat by PSG, even if the latter do prove to be distracted by the prospect of that double-header against Liverpool.A home win is the way to go, and we expect under 3.5 goals too. PSG will not want to overexert themselves, so game management will be the order of the day once they are ahead. Back PSG to win and under 3.5 goals at 5/4 with 247Bet PSG too strongLuis Enrique will want to see his side wrap up the victory as quickly as possible on Good Friday. If PSG could establish a healthy lead by the hour mark, for instance, they would be able to rest one or two players ahead of Liverpool’s visit on Wednesday. No team in Ligue 1 has a better first-half record than PSG, who have been ahead at the interval in two-thirds of their home games in 2025/26.Toulouse, for their part, rank 12th out of 18 Ligue 1 teams from the first minute to the 45th. Choose PSG/PSG in the half-time/full-time market at 5/7 with Casimba Doue on target? With Bradley Barcola nursing an injury from which he will not recover for at least another week, Desire Doue looks set to start in the front three on Friday. He may have done anyway, of course. Doue might only be 20 years old, but he is one of the most dangerous forwards in Europe on his day.The former Rennes man notched a brace for France in a 3-1 triumph over Colombia last weekend, having also scored in his last appearance for PSG.Doue has already reached double figures for goals in all competitions this term. Do not be surprised if he adds to his tally when Toulouse come to town.
