In Iran, targets included a central Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps site used for storing a variety of weapons, facilities tied to the production, storage, and development of ballistic missiles intended to target aircraft, and IRGC air defense systems. In Lebanon, the military said it targeted a Hezbollah training site, weapons storage facilities and launch positions, and headquarters belonging to Hezbollah’s Radwan Force. Trump also issued a direct warning to Iran over the Strait of Hormuz, tying the threat of escalation to maritime access. “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!” he wrote on Truth Social. The ultimatum sharpened focus on whether the US would take further action if Iran does not reopen the strategic waterway, or support Israeli strikes on additional targets, including energy infrastructure. The developments come amid ongoing exchanges between Israel and Iran and expanded Israeli operations targeting Iranian and Hezbollah-linked sites across multiple fronts.
