See, your issue is that you're assuming that I'm not speaking from experience. I went through far worse at 24 and was far more financially prepared than you were. I don't know why you would expect sympathy from somebody who was financially prepared for their child, especially since my child had high support needs, I had no family, and my ex - the man who beat and raped me repeatedly until I escaped after finding out I was pregnant - had moved me hundreds of miles away from any support system I could've leaned on. If I could have that level of foresight despite all of those odds, others have no excuse.
