A drug peddler and a customer were arrested during a late-night raid in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, on Friday (April 3, 2026). The accused were identified as Vemula Sai Kumar, a resident of Jeedimetla, who was supplying drugs, and Tirumala Arvind alias Maari from Jagadgirigutta, identified as a consumer.The raid was carried out by the Special Operations Team (SOT) of Quthbullapur in coordination with Jeedimetla police at Ganesh Nagar near Kaman Chintal. The police officials said that the accused were found in possession of 316 grams of methamphetamine, estimated to be worth ₹63.20 lakh in the illegal market.
