The Election Commission of India has ordered the suspension of four police officials in West Bengal. This action follows a law and order failure during a roadshow in Bhabanipur. Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against them. Separately, a primary school teacher was suspended for preparing campaign materials. The NIA is also continuing its probe into related events.
