Funny enough, that doesn't work where I am. Semi rural area, where it's just a thing here if you don't want something, to leave it at the curb for free. There's almost always people with trucks going by and someone will scoop it up. But only if it's at the end of the driveway. If you put a for sale sign on it, it'll sit there forever.
