In brief: Four of the models—including a compact SUV, a car, a pickup, and a mid-size pickup—will be aimed at South and Central American markets, with launches expected in 2028. The fifth vehicle, an electric van designed for North America, will be led by Hyundai and manufactured in the U.S. as early as 2028. GM will take the lead on the mid-size pickup, while Hyundai will spearhead development of the compact car and electric van.
