I have the best poll numbers I’ve ever had. You know why. Because people love the tariffs, and they love the trade deals, and they love that countries… aren’t ripping us off.”The conversation came amid Trump’s broader criticism of 2024 election-related data, including what he claimed were “rigged” job numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.As the discussion shifted to electoral performance, Trump said, “I got the highest vote in the history of Texas, a record that they say won’t be beaten unless I run again.” CNBC later confirmed the claim.While Trump’s comments appeared to downplay a future run, he didn’t rule it out entirely.In past interviews, he has responded similarly.
