Yeah Israels city street grid is a mix of ancient trade routes, Roman roads and modern urban planning there are varying degrees of cluster fk depending on the city. Jerusalem for example has quite a few streets that are only for walking and those are very confusing if you don't live there. I was curious about the walking buddy so I booked one for a trip to a specific market stall I couldn't find.. it was about 6$, and it was as described a nice rabenical student met me at my door and walked me to my destination. It was pretty handy I don't know why it's not a thing in the states I'd definitely use it again if I'm in an unfamiliar city
