Very very loosely related, but I’m a nurse and used to work with another nurse who also owned a working farm, when I was a nurse tech. I was mentioning I needed more money and was thinking about picking up OT. She told me she’d pay me $7/hr to work on her farm. Helping put up fences and other fairly laborious work. Which, nothing wrong with that kind of work… but not for less than minimum wage.
