A tourist reported dirty sea water and a strong odour in the Ras in-Niexfa area in Mellieħa.The same tourist had taken photos on 3rd August of last year which show contaminated water. When they compared the images, the tourist claimed that the problem persists.“The brownish plume in the water has been present since at least last summer. This is not a one-time occurrence, as the same visible murky discharge continues to appear,” the tourist told Lovin Malta.
