President Trump warns the US will hit Iran “with a force that has never been seen before” if Tehran follows through on its threats to ramp up its strikes on US allies.By David Rosenberg, World Israel NewsPresident Donald Trump warned Iran over the weekend that the US will strike with unprecedented force if the Islamic Republic follows through on its threats to massively ramp up its attacks on US forces and American allies in the Middle East.Following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and a number of other senior officials, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani threatened to expand Tehran’s retaliatory strikes on US bases in the Middle East and American allies.“We will make the Zionist criminals and the shameless Americans regret their actions,” Larijani wrote on X on Saturday. “The brave soldiers and the great nation of Iran will deliver an unforgettable lesson to the hellish international oppressors.”Pezeshkian vowed revenge following the US and Israeli strikes.“This great crime will never remain unanswered and will turn a new page in the history of the Islamic world and Shiism,” Pezeshkian’s office said in a statement Saturday evening, pledging that the US and its allies would regret the attacks on Iran.On Sunday, Trump responded to Iran’s threats, warning that the US is prepared to use unprecedented force should Iran ratchet up its retaliatory strikes.“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before,” the president wrote on his Truth Social account. “THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE!”Hours earlier, Trump penned a post celebrating the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei, and predicting that his elimination would lead to the collapse of the Islamic Republic.“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS,” the president wrote on Truth Social.“This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us,” Trump continued.“That process should soon be starting in that, not only the death of Khamenei but the Country has been, in only one day, very much destroyed and, even, obliterated.
