Class ABATS:VcryptodonovanAs someone who got into crypto in 2016, the Cipriani "thought experiment" predicting AI Agents will upend digital spending, killing credit card company revenue by leveraging stablecoins is a hilarious joke. Back in 2016, many believed crypto mass adoption was right around the corner. To be fair, it has grown massively, but look at how long it actually took. It is 2026, folks. For The Cipriani prediction to come true it depends on, BY 2028... 1. Everyone using AI Agents (not going to happen) 2. Many/most sellers accepting stablecoins (unlikely) 3. buyers being comfortable with stablecoins or big fintech integrating stablecoin back-end so consumers don't know they're using it (more likely) I'm not saying this stuff will never happen. Ten years, in the grand scheme, is a blink. But AI and especially AI agents are brand-spanking new. Nobody--No normal consumers--are using them yet. The notion that we're all suddenly going to adopt it in a mere 1-2 years is absurd. c*ked up Wall St analysts are very jumpy and sensitive to stuff like that Cipriani report. If you're on X a lot, you probably saw it too. Guess what? Nobody else did. Nobody cares. Normie inertia especially when it comes to money, payments systems, etc. is strong. Yknow what they aren't pricing in yet? Public backlash against AI and data centers and the fact that AI is not actually driving growth in most companies that adopt it. This bubble is gonna burst, and while blockchain/stablecoins will continue to be integrated, I don't expect payment behemoths like Visa to fall so easily. I've marked some potential entry levels I'll be watching closely. This would probably be a long-term hold unless a bearish trend continues. Take everything with a spoonful of salt, including this. CD
