Andy Ruiz Jr has been called out by Hughie Fury who wants to be the Mexican’s opponent for his Zuffa Boxing debut.Ruiz has yet to compete in the squared circle since breaking his hand in a controversial draw with Jarrell Miller in August 2024.Ruiz has been subject to a new offer from British heavyweight FuryGettyBut the Mexican recently returned to training and is pursuing a return to try and push his name back into the world title mix.It was then stunningly suggested by boxing inside Abraham Gonzalez that Ruiz had signed a deal with Dana White’s new promotion Zuffa Boxing.He has been linked to a showdown with current unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk in recent weeks.But British heavyweight and cousin of former two-time champion Tyson Fury, Hughie, wants to be the next to take on Ruiz.He said during a video call-out on social media: “First of all, I wanted to say congratulations to you and your team for signing with Zuffa Boxing.“Second of all, I’d love to share a ring with you. I do believe you’re one of the best heavyweights out there. “Listen, I don’t want to keep picking and choosing my opponents like these other heavyweights are doing; I believe I’m the best and I want to fight the best.“Listen, me and you now should get the fight on. I remember a few years ago we were supposed to fight before I fought Parker. “This fight makes sense to me.
