As many of you may know, mtc voucher vending machines have "reasonable" amounts for their smaller vouchers, ie, amounts that correspond to our dollar notes. Which is good, because those machines do not return any surplus cash or credit. But why is it that the larger amounts, especially N$ 180 and N$ 295 deviate from any amount anyone would reasonably carry around with? Do those odd amounts correspond to any mtc plan that requires that exact amount?
