Ive given money to homeless people on the train for drugs. Ill ask if they need it to “get well” and if they say yes, then ill give them $5 for a bag of dope. I have 6 years clean but opioid withdrawal is a bitch and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. You can’t think past it because you literally can’t function without it. So if I can help someone be “well” for a few hours and then I am good with that. None of them ever asked me for anything more than what I gave, thats a dick move.
