For Fulham’s second, it was a well-hit strike from Iwobi, one that Vicario could do little about. 5.Pedro Porro – The Spaniard has offered some much-needed width for Spurs in attack during the first half. Whenever he has received the ball, he has looked to play forward or whip crosses into the box. 5.Radu Dragusin – The centre-back made a few important blocks when defending crosses in the first half. He was involved in Fulham’s opener but appeared to be pushed in the back by Raul Jimenez, which prevented him from reaching the cross, but VAR viewed it as a legitimate push. He did come close to scoring from a corner but shot over. 4.Micky van de Ven – Continues to captain the side and, during the first half, was often tight to Raul Jimenez, tracking his runs into midfield. For Fulham’s second, there was no pressure on Alex Iwobi and no attempt to block the shot. 4.Archie Gray – The youngster has been deployed at left-back with Djed Spence not in the squad. He has looked to get forward when possible, but his influence in the final third has been limited. He has also often struggled with Fulham’s play down on Spurs’ left and should have put more pressure on Iwobi for Fulham’s second. 5.Joao Palhinha – The Portuguese operated in midfield but also dropped into the backline when Micky van de Ven stepped out. He had a chance from the edge of the box, though his effort was deflected wide for a corner. 6.Yves Bissouma – With Palhinha sitting deeper, Bissouma featured in a more advanced midfield role in the opening 45 minutes. He managed to play a few line-breaking passes to move Spurs forward and kept possession ticking in Fulham’s half. 5.5.Conor Gallagher – Operated on the inside left but has not been aggressive enough in the final third, often choosing his moments to break forward while contributing defensively. 4.Xavi Simons – The Dutchman had a good opportunity in transition early on when he could have released Conor Gallagher, but held on to the ball too long. He needs to move it quicker. 4.Dominic Solanke – Has had several touches and looked to force the issue at times, but his efforts have more often been blocked. 5.Randal Kolo Muani – The Frenchman has barely had a clear sight of goal in this half, though he continues to run the channels. He has at times overcomplicated things when with the ball, leading to him giving it away cheaply. 4.The post Tottenham half-time player ratings vs Fulham – 4/10 for midfielder who looks lost appeared first on Spurs Web.
