There’s a new Japanese release date for Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie - Walpurgisnacht: Rising, and the film will apparently appear in theaters in Japan on August 28, 2026. There’s no worldwide release window yet. The news arrived via the official site, and there’s no new trailer to accompany it. However, Good Smile Company did share an update on the Homura Akemi, Kyoko Sakura, and Sayaka Miki Nendoroids based on their appearances in this release, rather than their original anime looks.This is the fourth release date and launch window for Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie - Walpurgisnacht: Rising. It was first supposed to appear in Winter 2024. The second window was Winter 2025. After that, it was expected to show up in February 2026. As for the three Nendoroids based on Homura, Kyoko, and Sayaka, here are the first looks at them. Both Homura and Kyoko look pretty similar to the way they did in past anime adaptations. However, Sayaka’s face plate shows her covered in bandages with only her right eye showing and it ending in a bow near her right ear. Why?
