Unlike Storrie, Williams was not expected to present at the award show, and likely decided to skip the show altogether as a result.Michael Kovac//Getty ImagesDistance may have also played a factor in Williams’s absence at the Actor Awards. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, so making a trip from New York City to Los Angeles and from Los Angeles back to Vancouver may have been too taxing for the rising star.Williams has a few projects on his plate that will keep him busy now and in the weeks to come. According to the outlet, the story follows “Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator, [who] is probing his [Henry’s] disappearance and finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie Anne Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.”Williams is also slated to start filming Heated Rivalry season 2 later this year in August. “There will be more Heated Rivalry on your TVs, like, truly, as soon as humanly possible,” showrunner Jacob Tierney said in a February 2026 joint interview with executive producer, Brendan Brady on CBS Mornings. Brady added, “like the best parts of this show, ” that fans should “enjoy the yearn.”Related StoriesConnor Storrie Wore Diamonds at the Actor AwardsHudson and Connor on Their FriendshipHudson Williams Supported Connor Storrie at SNL
