How To Sync Multi-Chart Layouts In TradingviewE-mini Nasdaq-100 FuturesCME_MINI:NQ1!FriendOfTheTrendSyncing multi-chart layouts in Tradingview can be done easily. Here are a few pointers to help get you started. Click the chart layout icon next to the chart layout name. Then select the chart layout style you want to use. Pro Tip: The top left chart in your layout is considered your main chart and that is the chart that will be shown when you go to open the same chart layout on your Tradingview mobile app. So make sure you keep your top left chart set to the timeframe and settings you want to appear on your mobile app when you open your charts there. For example, if your top left chart is a daily chart and you need to manage a short term day trade on the 1 minute chart from your mobile app while you make lunch, the daily chart would not be useful and could cause you to mismanage the trade. So make sure to keep your top left chart set to the timeframe and settings you would need to manage a trade on your mobile app. Once you select your chart layout setup, then scroll to the bottom of that list and you will see options to Sync In Layout. Click the toggle to the right of any of the sync options to turn that option on or off. The option you select will affect all charts in your layout. Sync Options The first sync option is Symbol. By turning the Symbol sync on, all of the charts in your current layout will lock to the symbol that you select. For example, if you are on a chart for TSLA and then select the SPY chart with Symbol synced, then all of your charts will change to SPY. The second sync option is Interval. By turning the Interval sync on, all of the charts in your current layout will change to use the same time frame interval. For example if you change your time frame to 1 minute, all charts will switch to the 1 minute time frame. The second sync option is Crosshair. By turning the Crosshair sync on, all of the charts in your current layout will move the crosshair to match the same point on the chart as the chart that you are currently hovering your mouse on. The second sync option is Time. By turning the Time sync on, all of the charts in your current layout will show the same point on the chart as when you click on one of the charts. For example, if you click on a point that is from 7 days ago, all of the other charts will change position to show that same point in time. The second sync option is Date Range. By turning the Date Range sync on, all of the charts in your current layout will show the same date range. For example, if you have a 1 minute chart, 1 hour chart and 1 day chart, all charts will show the same date range which would be zoomed out ot a 1 minute chart, slightly zoomed in on a 1 hour chart and very zoomed in on a daily chart. Maximize One Chart Panel If you want to zoom in on one chart and make it take up the whole screen, you can click on the chart you want to be full size and then in the bottom right corner of your chart you can click the maximize pane button which looks like two diagonal arrows going different directions. That will expand your currently selected pane to fill the entire chart window. Copy Your Chart Settings To Another Chart Once you are happy with all of your chart layouts and settings, you can make an exact copy of it to use for watching other tickers without having to reload the chart every time you switch. Just click the dropdown arrow to the right of your chart layout name and then select Make A Copy. Name the new chart layout and then go to that chart and select new tickers to watch so you can add that new chart layout to another screen or have it open in a new tab so you can switch back and forth quickly. Scroll A Chart To The Most Recent Bar If your chart is viewing data from historical bars, you can quickly scroll to the most recent bar by hovering your mouse in the lower right hand corner of the chart pane and then an icon with two right arrows will appear. Click that icon and the chart will scroll to the most recent bars so you can view real time price action without manually scrolling. I hope this helps you with your chart layout setup.
